Visit from the Teenagers
Not many days ago, some of the teenagers of First Baptist Church of Groton came to BJU for a visit. It was on that trip that Kellen and Morgan met for the first time. If you were one of those teenagers, leave a comment telling the readership how much you enjoyed the trip. If you can’t remember if you went, click on the thumbnail, then look for either your name or someone in the picture who looks like you.

I have never as yet, ever commented on anyone’s blog, but by request from my own flesh and blood I will endeavor my first mark on this fine publication. The highlights of my trip were of course seeing my siblings and the other friends I have grown up with. I also enjoyed listening to Dr.Sylvester’s vivacious lecture on Shakespeare, and Emi’s garnishing teacher, Chef Moritz’s hilarious, and what I thought from my limited experience and knowledge of cooking, very instructive way of teaching. The fun playing Dutch Blitz in the social parlor, freezing from the suprising cold at the soccer stadium, and the general feel of college life were also quite memorable.

As one of those individuals featured in the photograph, I will comment.
The trip was a lot of fun, although the mode of transportation was less than desirable, as I’m sure you can understand (Seventeen plus hours in a bus). It was nice seeing friends again and getting to hang out together. I also enjoyed visiting classes of interest and observing life on a college campus.
Ultimately, the BJU trips are enjoyable because they allow you to experience all the perks of college life without any of the responsibilities. :-)

The bus trip is great experience. Some of the highlights for me were the following:
-seeing all the college kids from our church
-going to the Elementary French class
-listening to Chorale (the choir consisting of the best singers at BJU)
-watching Stuart pretend to be a visitor in one of Ian’s classes
-playing Dutch Blitz and Taboo in the Social Parlor
-sitting by myself and observing college life. It’s fascinating!
My time at Bob Jones was a fun and profitable one, and I’m very glad that I went on this trip.

I will comment because I was in the picture. It was so much fun having a part of home here for a few days. I miss home so much everytime I come to school so I look forward to any visits from Home. It was really nice to have Moriah in my room. To spend time with each of the kids. I’m so glad that you all came down. I miss you all so much. College is a wonderful time in your life so carefully seek the Lord’s will where He would have you to go. And when you go to college get invovled in different ministry opportunities and have a social life. Studying is very important too. Miss you all!!!

I will comment per your request. BJU was alot of fun. From visiting in on classes to seeing all of my college friends. The weather was beautiful which was a plus cause you could actually see the campus in all of it beauty. I enjoyed all the places to go to play games, visiting with people, meeting new people, soccer games, ect. All of the social aspects. My favorite class by far was the Shakespeare class, the teacher was very animated and really dug into his works. Overall it was a great experience, one that i will remember for a very long time. May God bless.
